Carrie Flower is a children’s brand created by Cynthia Wood Post and illustrated by Kirby Brislin. The team consulted with Dr. Michael Garzella to develop a comprehensive social & emotional program for Carrie Flower. The books were redesigned by Janice O’Brien to give them a fresh look, aligning 100% to the PA early learning standards for social & emotional teachings. Carrie Flower aims to help children foster a sense of self, learn how they interact with others, and establish quality relationships. This includes communication skills, conflict resolution, gaining confidence, and reaching goals. Using the metaphor of flowers in a garden, Carrie Flower emphasizes the uniqueness and specialness of each individual.
